Look, we’re all about fashion brands branching out and doing some cool side projects – hello Gucci homewares! – but we’ve now seen it all with Dolce & Gabbana‘s latest venture. They’ve teamed up Italian pasta makers Pastificio di Martino to release limited edition tins of pasta – and matching aprons, of course.
While D&G are no strangers to using food in their designs – see here, here and here – and they’ve also released some of their own homewares in conjunction with SMEG earlier this year, a tin of designer pasta is definitely extra to its core. There will be 5,000 tins made worldwide, covered in an exclusive D&G print that pays homage to the tiles you used to see at your nonna’s house.
The pasta is now available from retailers around the world – none in Australia though – and directly from the website. Or if you just want to see someone actually making use of the $140 tin of pasta, type #DGPasta into Instagram.
