The annual Witchery White Shirt Campaign has returned this year and is bigger and better than ever. With ambassadors from all over the world like Didier Cohen, Samantha Harris, Ita Buttrose and Aussie fashion blogger Margaret Zhang, this year’s campaign has already raised over $500,000. The campaign, which runs from April 7 to May 2, raises much-needed funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). All proceeds (less GST) from the collection go directly to OCRF so why not buy yourself a gorgeous shirt to help in the fight against ovarian cancer?
This cause is super important for everyone to get behind (not just the ladies). One woman dies of ovarian cancer every ten hours, which means it could be you, your mother, your sister, your wife, your friend or even your daughter. The only way to stop this is through research, and while we aren’t all scientists, by purchasing a white shirt during the campaign, or just donating over at ocrf.com.au/donate, you too can make a difference.
How you can help:
Buy/Wear: If you want to get behind this great cause, head in to your local Witchery store, or online at www.witchery.com.au, and purchase a shirt from their White Shirt Campaign collection.
Tag/Share: Share a photo on Instagram with the caption ‘I wear a white shirt because…’ followed by your supportive message and tag a friend to spread the message. Be sure to use the hashtag #WHITESHIRTCAMPAIGN.
