Wanderlust 108 is coming to Adelaide

Wanderlust – we’ve heard the word a thousand times and it might be overused but it doesn’t always mean getting on a plane and fleeing the country. It can also mean the desire to travel to a new level of mindfulness, which is what globally renowned festival Wanderlust 108 wants to bring to Adelaide for the first time.

The festival has taken place all around the world – from Buenos Aires to Nashville to London – and now they’ve teamed up with Adidas to bring the event to Adelaide and create a vibrant day of fun, fitness, self-awareness and inner-peace.

“From the beginning we wanted to infuse it with meaning – to create an event that is fun but also based on underlying ideals,” says the creative directors of the event. “[An event] where attendees are actually participants, and where people left feeling better than when they came. We dreamed of an event that could be at least a good time and personally transformative”.

The eventful day will kick start with a dynamic 5km run – or walk – led by our very own CLIQUE Fit ambassador, Tahlia Pretty. Despite what you may be thinking, this is not a competition of who can run the fastest; this day is all about you doing things at your own pace.

Next on the agenda is 75 minutes of yoga flow set to a a fun DJ beat. Whether you’re a true yogi or a first timer, we promise you will find your rhythm.

To “get your sit together” and finish off your fitness triathlon, you will complete a 30 minute meditation led by world renowned spiritual leaders. Through meditation you will clear your mind, relax your body and finish feeling completely refreshed.

From here you’re free to roam, but we recommend booking yourself into extra scheduled activities from aerial yoga, acroyoga, hooping or walking meditation – take your pick!

All in all, Wanderlust 108 was designed to unite people of all ages and genders, so grab your active wear and your bestie for the ultimate “me” day, focussing on your mind, body and soul.

Wanderlust 108 is at Bonython Park on Saturday, September 23 from 7am-4pm
