It’s all beer, cider and bubbly this weekend as East End Cellars turns Adelaide’s East End into a laneway pop-up tasting soiree for another season of Beer and Bubbles.
This unmissable event will see over 20 boutique breweries pouring their craft beers and crisp ciders, as well as flute after flute of local and international sparkling wines. This year’s event will also play host to the exclusive unveil of the brand new sparkling wine, DAOSA.
“We are enormously excited to announce that Beer and Bubbles 2018 will be the first public tasting where the highly anticipated release of the sparkling called DAOSA will be on pour,” says East End Cellars owner and event director, Michael Andrewarth.
Husband and wife duo, Xavier Bizot and Lucy Croser are the creators behind DAOSA, and hold a lifetime of experience in the wine trade. With Xavier and Lucy’s strong family connections to Bollinger, Croser and Petaluma wines, they’ve sourced the finest grapes from their vineyards for their DAOSA blend.
You’ll find beer and cider barrels by Balter Beers, Moon Dog Brewery, Fox Hat and Lobo Cider to name a few. And for the bubbles, expect Beresford, Henschke, Bollinger, Charlie Pelletier and more.
Hoping for something a little stronger? There will also be a dedicated gin bar stocked with Kangaroo Island’s, KIS Gin for your classic G&T.
Local East End eateries including Nola, Mothervine, Exchange and East End Cellars will be plating up some of their signature (and of course delicious) dishes to cure rumbling tummies.
Tickets start from $39 and include event entry, a glass and 15 tokens to taste any of the beer, cider and sparkling on offer.
The weather is set to shine this weekend and you won’t want to miss out on this fun in the sun, so make a day of it and head down to Adelaide’s East End.
