Oscar Hunt launches Indigenous Wearable Art

Oscar Hunt have launched their limited-edition linings suits, partnering with Amity Guild showcasing Indigenous arts and culture.

This fantastic collaboration features six unique prints where (Amity Guild) Co- Founder Benson Igua Saulo said the vision behind the project was born as a result of his own ‘battles in the boardroom’. This was demonstrated through his career across business, finance and human rights with a want to display his Indigenous heritage as armour.

“We formed Amity Guild for a very simple reason – to showcase Australia’s rich cultural history and celebrate this with like-minded individuals. From there we approached Oscar Hunt, which felt like a natural fit for us.”

Each print identifies unique stories and designs includes:

The Citizen – Driven by the belief that we are stronger together.

The Philosopher – Stoic with an inner strength that emboldens others.

The Insider – Working in a system to change the system for the better.

The Non-Conformist – Unconventional by nature and willing to go against the grain.

The Artist – Creative and curious with an eye for innovation and disruption.

The Connector – Finds strength in collaboration and focus in intent

Artist Stan Yarramunua said, “For me, the power of art is unparalleled – it’s one of the purest forms of storytelling. The selected linings represent a series of narratives that embody courage, integrity, creativity and connection to country. Showcasing Indigenous art is timeless, and a way to connect our past, present and future.”
