Label of the moment Off-White is collaborating with Nike in a collection that blurs the lines between lifestyle and traditional sportswear.
The range, titled Football, Mon amour, is inspired by creator Virgil Abloh’s high-school footballing memories and takes its aesthetic from prints in European sports teams. Featured in the release is the Flyknit Zoom Fly, the Air Max 97 and other Nike favourites for sport lovers and those looking for a comfortable shoe. Hooded jumpers, running shorts and Football-jersey tops also accompany the range.
“A large part of what I do with Off-White is a look back at my 17-year-old self. It’s a sandbox where I make little castles that are rooted in nostalgia” stated the designer.
“A lot of the silhouettes came from either past or current shapes. Football (soccer) has a beautiful history of uniforms and the way that players like to wear their clothes has changed a lot of over time.”
The collection is available to shop from the Supply Store from June 15, just in time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup of Football.
