Off-White release Nike collaboration inspired by Serena Williams

Off-White has collaborated with Nike to celebrate the GOAT herself, Serena Williams, just in for the 50th edition of the US Open. The brand, who has previously collaborated with Sunglass Hut and Ikea, are set to dress the 23-time Grand Slam champion in a series of the sportswear giant’s signature pieces with a Serena spin.

Off-White founder and Louis Vuitton menswear director, Virgil Abloh, stated that the collection is about embodying the spirit of the American and offering a fresh take on tennis clothing.

“With Serena, we have one of our generation’s most powerful, inspiring athletes as the muse. What I love about tennis is the gracefulness. It’s an aggressive and powerful game, but it takes touch and finesse,” he says.

The Queen Collection focusses on Serena’s fondness of ballet, as previously seen in a photo shoot with US Vogue, and is set to include two tennis dresses for both night and day matches along with the Air Max 97 shoes. Off-White has also designed a bomber jacket, blazer, bag and the NikeCourt Flare 2 in glitter.
