Adelaide’s one stop spot(s) for all of your health-food needs, Nutrition Republic has become a staple in the local health conscious foodie scene. Boasting an impressive range of eats and treats that are equal parts delicious and nutritious, the team at Nutrition Republic are truly changing the world one bite at a time.
This week sees the launch of a third Nutrition Republic, this time at Flinders University. That’s right, students can now fuel their brains (and recover from the weekend) with NR’s top-notch coffee and the food to boot. The Flinders University locale is Nutrition Republic’s second new store in 2017, after launching at Plant 4 Bowden in February.
We chat to Nutrition Republic boss-lady, Nicole Sumracki, on opening day to get the inside scoop (or slurp) on all things NR 3.
Thanks so much for talking with us – we know it must be a hectic first day! We’ve seen the exponential success and growth of Nutrition Republic across the Hyde Park and Bowden locales, why do you think Adelaide foodies have responded so positively to the NR ethos?
Because we offer truly healthy conscious food, in a happy positive environment.
The new store is Nutrition Republic’s first on-campus location, what motivated the decision to pen the third NR at Flinders University?
There are numerous reasons why we chose an on-campus location, one being the customer demand from students and staff at Finders University who were already our customers or simply [were] seeking healthier options on campus. Our vision is a healthier, happier, more conscious world. We hope to inspire and educate people to make conscious food choices by providing real, wholesome, nourishing food that is healthy, quick, easy and affordable.
Nutrition Republic’s extensive range of hot drinks, elixirs, earth bowls and more have garnered a serious following with brunchers and health food fanatics alike, what menu offerings can customers expect to chow down on at the Flinders University store?
Our full menu will be available at Flinders Uni, plus the addition of smaller grab-and-go pre-packaged options to make healthy eating on-the-go even easier! Our full menu is also available as takeaway.
Finally, we all know that nutritious and delicious brain food is vital for the optimum study mode – any recommendations for eats and treats to get students through the mid-semester slump?
Our coffees are always a go. We serve double ristrettos as a standard, giving a nice strong, smooth coffee. A raw treat goes down nicely too and is packed with healthy fats!
Nutrition Republic 3 is located at Flinders University and officially opened October 3.
