Local makeup artist Mandy Nash is renowned for her flair of OTT and wonderful theatrical creations using makeup, paint and fabrication.
Mandy set out to do something big this year that represented her creative work.
“I wanted to create something that isn’t seen very often — something magical,” Mandy says.
She’s channeling this through her SALA exhibiton entitled ‘MUSE‘ held at Tenth & Gibson on Tuesday, 16 August.
The exhibition is a collection of photographic prints of her new works plus some of her iconic old favourites. Plus, on the night she’ll be creating a live installation — aptly featuring three for her muse models.
The exhibition is sure to join the long list of her career highlights which include, making up ledendary Barry Humphries for Adelaide Cabaret Festival, body painting Grace Jones for her recent tour in Sydney and winning the Rawards Adelaide Makeup Artist of the Year 2014.
