While summer in Adelaide is synonymous with a daytrip to the beach, there’s little in the way of beach parties as day turns to dusk. Luckily, Lucky’s Beach Club is making the most of the recent sunny skies as it returns to The Maid Hotel for its third season.
Known as Adelaide’s Hamptons-inspired beach club in the ‘burbs, Lucky’s channels the Long Island summer destination through and through. A fresh palette of bright whites and coral tones paired with natural textures sees booths crafted from wooden pallets and golden sands underfoot.
Third time’s a charm for the pop-up venue, with this year seeing a refreshed range of food, beverage and entertainment offerings. “This season is so exciting because we get to introduce our new food kiosk,” says co-owner Luke Schapel. “Signature items include crab and slaw sliders, Long Island Reuben sandwiches, and traditional fried chicken with hot sauce.”
On the drinks front, expect an all-new spritz menu that extends beyond the classic Aperol variety to include Pampella, Ambra and Limoncello.
More than just a spot to unwind and indulge, expect a jam-packed schedule of events including Lucky’s Day Club. A winning combination of chilled beats and tasty eats, the Day Club is the ultimate Sunday session.
Coming into the festive season, Lucky’s will also host Christmas Eve with a twist, complete with live outdoor music. Come New Year’s Eve, the pop-up bar will come to life with an echo of last year’s sell-out Wolf of Wall Street, 80s inspired party.
Enjoy all of the revelries from a private booth, complete with exclusive table service and host. Assemble ten of your nearest and dearest to pop bottles of Magnum Moët & Chandon, sip on Spritz, and tuck into a range of booth-exclusive eats and treats. Perfect for the upcoming silly season, 18-person booths are also available upon request.
