Some people consider Anna Wintour the queen of fashion – and don’t get us wrong, we really love her – but Grace Coddington has always been our fave. In great news, she’s continuing to keep busy after departing as Creative Director at Vogue, with the fashion powerhouse now adding a collaboration with Louis Vuitton to her upcoming talk show host debut.
Announced at the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2019 showing in Cannes, the collection will centrally focus on her well-known love of cats with the signature LV logo reimagined to feature illustrations of her two cats, Pumpkin and Blanket. Louis Vuitton Creative Director Nicholas Ghesquière’s dog, Lèon, will also feature in the illustration.
“My collaboration with Nicolas and his team at Louis Vuitton has been so much fun,” said the 77-year old in a statement released after the announcement. “I hope it will be a dream come true for Pumpkin, Blanket, and Nicolas’s dog—it certainly is for me.”
Patent leather bags taking the shape of each pet are expected to accompany the release alongside reasy-to-wear garments and small leather goods.
The collection will arrive in Louis Vuitton stores this October.
