In the lead up to the 2016 Adelaide Fashion Festival (AFF) Campaign Launch at SAHMRI tomorrow night, it has been announced that Lisa Messenger, CEO of The Messenger Group as well as founder of Collective Hub, will be opening the festival on Wednesday, 19 October.
Known for her unique approach to entrepreneurship, Lisa’s print publication is now distributed in 37 countries as well as through the online news site.
In an event titled “Daring and Disruptive” with Lisa Messenger, Lisa will host a lunch prepared by Tasting Australia chef Simon Bryant inside the Mercedes-Benz Adelaide showroom.
While enjoying your meal, it will also be your chance to learn from one of Australia’s most inspiring woman and author during disruptive conversation.
Lisa says she’s excited to return to Adelaide and hopes she will inspire and motivate the event attendees.
““I hope that guests take away a sense of self belief they may not have had before, a feeling that absolutely anything is possible, as long as you follow your passion and know your ‘why’!” Lisa says.
“Adelaide is an untapped destination for entrepreneurs, I’m aware there are more co-working spaces popping up, along with a lot of really successful global businesses all emerging from Adelaide.
“It may perhaps be because it’s a city that’s more affordable to live in compared to bigger cities like Melbourne and Sydney, so it’s a lot easier to start a business financially.”
Get your questions prepared and get ready for all the #girlboss inspiration.
