Location, location, location.
The new film clip for Jamie XX’s opening track from his album ‘In Colour’ has just landed and the combination of powerful visuals and an abandoned location make for a stunning video.
Hassan Kone stars in the masterpiece directed by Romain Gavras, which is set in an abandoned Chinese town Tianducheng.
The almost ghost-town location is largely surrounded by farm land and imitates Paris with a 300-foot Eiffel Tower replica. The incredible location is bettered by the phenomenal coordination of more than 400 people and vast panning shots that keep your eyes well and truly glued. The uniformity of the visuals, enhanced by the grey-scale really will leave you saying “Gosh”.
