With a history of freshening up their pub meals as the seasons change, Plympton bistro The Highway have dished up a different kind of offering this winter with new tailored transport service, Coopers Local Bus, designed to treat local patrons to free rides to and from the venue every Sunday.
Catered to lucky pub-goers residing in suburbs with the postcodes 5037, 5038 and 5039, the 20-seat capacity bus service commences this week through to the end of winter.
As described by Venue Manager Darren Paech, the new addition can be likened to the pub’s own personal Uber system that would see patrons utilising a safe transport option before and after ending their Sunday sessions.
“We come directly to your house, you and your friends can hop on board, enjoy a Sunday session at The Highway and get dropped home when you’re ready,” says Darren Paech.
Running from 12pm – 2pm with drop off times spanning from 5pm – 7pm, patrons can enjoy a worthwhile day indulging in $20 Cocktail and Coopers Jugs, live sport on the big screen and hours of local acoustic acts.
Along with pre-booking a booth or table, you can also arrange a time to book a seat on the bus to well and truly set up your Sunday itinerary.
