H&M is one of only a few fashion retail stores to have reopened in Rundle Mall after five weeks of COVID-19 related closures.
The global retail giant saw a 57 per cent decrease in sales since early March, with the US online store’s online sales growing more than a third in that period. Unfortunately, Australia does not have an online option so we’re happy to see H&M return to our list of possible places to visit now (observing social distancing, of course!).
Other clothing stores coming out of hibernation this week are Cotton On, Kathmandu, Gazman and Apple with strict measures in place to ensure the safety of staff and customers including no cash payments, protection screens, locked change rooms, limits to the number of customers in store and adjusted trading hours.
As of today there is one active case in South Australia, however health officials strongly urge to continue practicing social distancing and #stayhome if you develop cold or flu like symptoms.
