It seems fitting that on International Women’s Day, we talk to you about our favourites Sparkke Change. While their beverage line is made up of beers, lemonades and ciders, they’re also now doing a sparkling wine – in a can. And this one is particularly close to our heart at they’re supporting the #TimesUp movement.
If you didn’t read our profile on them last time, Sparkke are a group of women (and activists) who are looking to disrupt the male-dominated beer industry. Their head brewer Agi Gagic is one of only three female brewers under 30 and she’s making some delicious award-winning brews.
This delicious sparkling wine tinnie is of a product of love from resident winemaker and Pernod Ricard scholarship holder, Sarah Lyons. Not to mention it’s made right here in South Australia from a blend of McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills fruits – we literally have no reason not to love it.
Oh, and to celebrate International Women’s Day, 10% of direct sales will go to the International Women’s Development Agency for the month of March.
Delicious and for a good cause? We’ll drink to that.
