While the cooler months lured us out to the Adelaide Hills with the promise of Winter Reds, Adelaide’s hot summer often tempts us away from the Hill’s shade and towards our stunning shores. Here to remind us that cooling off in the canopy of vineyards – and with a glass of wine in hand – is just as refreshing as a dip in the ocean, CRUSH Festival is back for 2017, encouraging us to play it cool.

With 41 wineries, 43 eclectic cellar door events and 12 exclusive ticketed events, it’s sure to be one huge weekend from Friday, January 27–Sunday, January 29. To help to cipher through the festival’s jam packed program we’ve put together our must-do list for CRUSH.

If summer has lead your partner to grow tired of long walks along the beach and you’re running out of spontaneous date nights after months of extended hours, Hahndorf’s The Seasonal Garden Café have you sorted. Changing the game for summery dates, the café is dimming the lights and getting the ambience just right for a Friday evening soirée like no other. They’ll be showing Red Dog in an open air cinema out in their gardens. Supplying the wine from Hersey, tapas out of the woodoven and DJ Pablito, all that’s left to do is bring your CRUSH. Mates and gal pals are permitted so grab your nearest and dearest and get into the hills for your next Friday evening affair.
