In a world where we get collaborations every week in the fashion world, you’d think we’d be less excited each time but it’s impossible when they keep getting better. The latest one – straight out of Pitti Uomo – will see Converse pairing up with J.W.Anderson.
The iconic shoe brand announced the partnership with the London designer after he debuted the collection during his Spring/Summer ’18 show in Florence. The collaboration sees the classic All Stars style re-imagined in bright green/red/blue glitter as well as an all beige pair and our personal favourite, the JW Anderson branded black and white pair.
“From my very first pair, Converse have represented such a radical movement in style and culture,” says Jonathan Anderson.
“The contrasts and similarities between the world of Converse and the world of J.W.Anderson creates a space of culture tension that’s a dream to play within as a designer.”
The runway also revealed new low-top Thunderbolt Ultras – a little more understated than the glittered All Stars. We can’t wait to see the full collection once they’re released and more pairs in future as they’ve promised this is the start of a long-term partnership.
