Renowned for her mesmerising stage presence and impressive vocal prowess, P!NK returns to Adelaide this month with her Beautiful Trauma World Tour. In true form, the international pop icon is tipped to belt out the hits from her newest studio album of as well as powerhouse renditions of all the classics. Better yet, Australian five-piece, The Rubens, have been named as support act ensuring a killer night from start to finish.

Umbrella: Winter City Sounds

Championing the Adelaide music scene, the annual Umbrella Winter City Sounds unleashes a city-wide celebration of emerging and established talent this month. With a wide range of curated events and performances showcasing live music, it’s the perfect excuse to boogie and sway this July.

Kendrick Lamar

It’s no secret that Australia loves Kendrick Lamar in a big way as he consistently tops the charts of our coveted triple J Hottest 100. Returning to our shores this month, Lamar will hit the Adelaide Entertainment Centre ahead of his headline slot at the Byron Bay’s Splendour in the Grass.

Spin Off Festival

We all know that Splendour in the Grass is the crème de la crème of Australian music festivals but unfortunately not all of us can make the trek up to Byron Bay each year. Luckily, Spin Off Festival returns to Adelaide this month, bringing an incredible selection of Splendour acts to the Adelaide Showgrounds. This year’s line-up doesn’t disappoint, with The Wombats, The Smith Street Band, Meg Mac and The Jungle Giants all crossing the Eastern borders come July 20.

Scouted Festival

Scouted Festival returns this winter on a mission to uncover the state’s best emerging talent. This year the festival trades the East End for stages across Adelaide’s west with 19 gigs across West Oak Hotel, Jive, Nexus Arts Venue and Rocket Bar. Unwind with tunes from local folksters, The Winter Gypsy, and alt-indie darling, Naomi Keyte as Adelaide’s thriving music scene emerges in full force this month.

Katy Perry
