As the skies turn grey and the temps drop, Adelaide’s summer line-up of festivals is sadly coming to an end. Luckily, the turn of the season doesn’t mean a halt on the fun as our AW18 calendar fills with exciting festivals to see us through the chilly months.

We’re in full swing with the mammoth annual Adelaide Fringe, and it’s gearing up to be massive season of festival fun.

Adelaide Fringe Festival

And just like that, we’re about the enter the last week of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. It kicked things off in style with an impressive line-up of comedy, cabaret and music acts. With cultural venues far and wide as well as inner-city hubs, Adelaide comes alive with pop-ups and extended hours across the CBD thanks to the iconic annual event.

WOMADelaide

Enjoy the world’s best music, arts and dance as WOMADelaide takes to Botanic Park in mid-March. With a killer line-up in tow, fuel your weekend of wonder with Poh’s Jamface and be inspired by speakers from around the globe at The Planet Talks.

Porch Sessions :: Jordie Lane

Good vibes find a home with Porch Sessions. The first instalment of the chilly season, Jordie Lane takes to the Porch Stage alongside Leah Senior and Adelaide’s own Trav Collins for a dreamy day of garden tunes.

Porch Sessions :: Jack The Fox

SA’s Nick Cunningham joins headliner Jack The Fox and LOA for a garden party unlike any other for the April instalment of Porch Sessions. Rug up warm with blankets and unwind with live music and markets all day long.

Groovin The Moo

Autumn’s favourite touring music festival, Groovin the Moo takes to the Adelaide Showgrounds for its second year at the Wayville locale. Headlined by Triple J legend, Alex Lahey, get down with a star-studded line-up including Ball Park Music, Flight Facilities, Tkay Maidza and Skeggs.

Splendour in the Grass

A little further abroad, no AW18 Festival guide would be complete without Splendour in the Grass. The mecca of Australia’s festival scene, Splendour will take Byron Bay by storm once again this July for a weekend of good vibes and even better tunes.
