Sunny’s Pizza – Turbo Ruski Spritz
Tucked away on Solomon Street, sprawl out across the sun laden verandah at Sunny’s with a Turbo Ruski Spritz in hand. The simple and refreshing blend of Stoli Vodka, BK Pet Nat and Limonata makes for the perfect complement to a piping hot slice of the bar’s famed wood-oven pizza.

Escape the heat and head underground to Maybe Mae and explore the basement bar’s recently revitalised drinks list, divided by Coastal, Hills and Valley inspiration. Sample the produce-driven Hills portion of the menu with The Basket Case, a concoction of walnut-washed Seppeltsfield fortified, white rum, eau de vie, Corella pear juice, walnut, and milk toffee.

Alfred’s Bar – Espresso Martini
West End favourite, Alfred’s Bar is renowned for bringing approachable cocktails with finesse to the forefront of Peel Street’s small-bar landscape. Case in point, the Espresso Martini. Alfred’s take on the cult-classic cocktail sees Bacardi Oakheart spiced rum shaken with café de crème, ice drip and sugar, topped with star anise for a distinctive kick.

Bar Torino – Rosé Spritz
Bar Torino puts aside its penchant for the classic G&T with a summer inspired Rosé Spritz. The blend of rosé, Aperol, lemon, mint and soda is best enjoyed over a table of small and large plates each designed for sharing in good company.

Sestra – Serbian Mojito
Sibling venue to its previous occupant, Kaffana, Sestra has had no qualms forging its own path since opening in early November. For a taste of the bar’s wide-ranging Balkan influences, we can’t go past the Serbian Mojito’s delicately sweet fusion of pear slijivovica, fresh lime, mint and sugar syrup.

Udaberri – G&T
Experience a slice of Basque Country at Leigh Street’s Udaberri this summer. Enjoy a bar laden with pintxos and get acquainted with the classic gin and tonic, Udaberri’s specialty elevated by premium tonics and carefully selected enhancers. Our pick is a nip of 78 Degrees served with tonic, fennel and fresh pear.

Rocket Bar & Rooftop – Turn Back Thyme
What better place to enjoy a drink this summer than atop the bustling Hindley Street precinct at Rocket Bar & Rooftop. We can’t get enough of the Turn Back Thyme with rum, Cointreau, blood orange and lime but keep your eye on the bar’s fresh summer cocktail menu, set to debut at the end of November.
