Clique Picks: Five Sunny Season Smoothies

As the weather heats up, we can’t think of a better way to keep cool and refuel than with some of Adelaide’s most refreshing smoothies. Whether you prefer a bowl of indulgence or a quick fix on-the-go, Adelaide’s cafes have got you covered.

To keep you feeling fresh this sunny season, we’ve picked our favourite sips and slurps from across the city.

CRUX – Let’s Date

Bursting onto the scene earlier this year with a 100% vegan menu, it’s no surprise CRUX are serving up some A-grade smoothies. Situated in the beachside suburb of Semaphore Park, amble up from a day on the sand to refuel with the Let’s Date. The hearty blend of dates, peanut butter, frozen banana and coconut mylk (with optional espresso shot) provides the perfect energy kick to keep you swimming.

Sibling – Banana Smoothie

Sibling took the city’s south by storm when it opened its Gilles Street doors in June. Offering a pocket of urban tranquillity with an emphasis on slow food, it’s no surprise the café’s menu is curated using local producers and home-style techniques. On the smoothie front Sibling keeps it classic, whipping up its Banana Smoothies with a simple yet sweet combination of banana, milk, honey and cinnamon.
