Channel 10’s Rebecca Morse Turns 40

Rebecca Morse

Happy birthday to Channel 10’s Rebecca Morse! We can hardly believe that this Adelaide style icon, who we see on our television screens every weeknight at 5pm on TEN Eyewitness News, is turning 40 today.

To help celebrate her milestone birthday, we chat to the lady herself to find out how she stays fabulous at forty and what she gets up to around Adelaide when she’s not on live TV.

Rebecca Morse

How are you celebrating your 40th birthday?
I celebrated with my family over lunch at Our Place at Willunga Hill last weekend and I got my friends together to do some damage on the dance floor in the city.  My very special birthday treat will be my first trip to New York later in the year with my husband.

What’s your top fashion tip for looking fabulous & forty?
Fashion shouldn’t be dictated by age. When my teenager borrows my clothes it’s the greatest of compliments. By the same token I think by the time you’re 40 you’ve worked out which bits to accentuate and which bits to cover up.

What’s your go-to skincare regime?
– MAC Makeup wipes and eye makeup remover
– Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel
– Musq Face Moisturiser
– Hydro Peptide Solar Defense Tinted Moisturiser
– Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye
– Monthly facials at Endota Burnside

When not reading the news, what do you get up to around Adelaide?
Kate Freebairn and I are addicted to F45 (Functional 45 Training) at Henley Beach and go most mornings. In other words….45 minutes of absolute pain! Weekends are all about spending time with my family and friends, going to Port games in winter and the beach in summer.

What are you most looking forward to during spring?
The warmer weather means more beach time and we’re one step closer to my favourite season. Bring on the sunshine.

Where’s your favourite place to grab a coffee?
Joe’s Kiosk, Penny University, The Middle Store and Coffylosophy.

Where do you like to eat out and get a drink?
Estia, Sean’s Kitchen and Bar Torino.

What are your favourite local fashion labels?
C/MEO Collective, Acler and Jaimie Sortino.

Where would you like to see yourself in 10 years time?
Hopefully still reading TEN Eyewitness News First At Five! And healthy, happy and well-travelled.
