The guys at Archie & Co just want to give you good hair. No seriously, this was the main aim that Adam Hadley Darrie and Paul Engelhardt had in mind when they opened the combined salon/coffee shop/retail space in December 2015.
The store is named after their Jack Russell x Pug, Archie (who can often be found hanging around the salon). A combination of Adam’s previous experience in owning a successful city salon for seven years and Paul’s history as a graphic designer has created the perfect laid back space where it feels more like friends hanging out, but you can just happen to get a great haircut as well.
Whether you’re after a simple men’s fade or a complete colour overhaul, the talented collection of colourists, precision cutters and all-round hair aficionados can offer you free in-depth consultations to ensure you’re happy with the results.
The café side of the business provides much needed caffeine to local residents and workers and the baristas on hand can make a mean cup of coffee to go with your haircut as well.
