American hip hop artist and fashion designer A$AP FERG has announced a string of headline shows in addition to his appearance at Listen Out festival, playing The Governor Hindmarsh, Adelaide this September.
A$AP FERG was one of the leading members of the renowned, Harlem-based A$AP (Always Strive and Propser) Mob, selling out world tours with Rihanna and Drake and collaborating with artists such as Missy Elliot and Skillrex.
Admittedly, his first passion was in Fashion after attending an Art and Design school and peddling his own clothing and jewelry before taking on the seamstress role for his group A$AP Mob and producing an exclusive clothing line including hoodies, bandanas, tops, caps, iPhone cases and more.
A$AP Ferg’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Always Strive and Prosper allows the listener an inside look into the rapper’s personal life and fascinating history.
“This album is by far the best work I’ve created and showcases my versatility and taste in the music that I love,” states Ferg.
“The mission for this album is for my fans to get a deeper look into my life; to know my origin, my family and the obstacles I’ve faced while growing up. More importantly, I want to encourage people to always strive and prosper because if an inner city kid from Harlem, NY can make it then they can as well.”
A$AP FERG will be playing at The Gov, Adelaide on Wednesday, September 28.
Tickets on sale 11am Wednesday, August 17.
