66 The Label Launches ‘Tapestry’

Local Adelaide accessory brand, 66 The Label, have launched their SS 16/17 collection ‘Tapestry’, just in time for the warm months approaching us!

Known for their range of straw and felt hats, this season 66 The Label has expanded into silk scarfs and neckties, leather chokers and exclusive to this collection, a leather corset.

Since the launch of the brand in 2014, 66 The Label has rapidly increased their turnover through consistent branding and loyal international/national customer base and can currently be found in over 60 stockists between Australia and Japan.

Rochelle Flynn, head of public relations, says the Tapestry collection is inspired by their love for music and the New York ’70s fashion era. Keeping in mind iconic artist Carol King who dominantly influenced their silks scarf designs —  all, which are designed in house, here, in Adelaide.

This season, they have incorporated straw hats which are available in a range of different styles and brims, with fraying or belt detailing and in a colour palette of vanilla, tobacco, pecan, khaki and jet.

Their collection also includes a woollen fiddler style hat, which has become a popular trend among both men and women this year.

Rochelle confirms that the direction of 66 The Label is an exciting one, with plenty more to be expected of the Adelaide based brand in 2017!
