Winter rolls around to rooftop bar and restaurant 2KW and we were invited in to taste the new winter menu. Standouts were the super salad, a healthy combination of Flowering broccolini, roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts, kale, grains, seeds and cauliflower tahini. Prefer something a little meatier? They’ve got a gorgeously refined trio of duck with duck prosciutto, rillettes, pate, pickled walnut jus gras.
2KW have also introduced some new cocktails for the chillier months and in the style of 2KW, it’s complex, refined and in perfect balance. Exemplary of a winter cocktail was the Barrel Aged Rosita, a combination of tequila, vermouth and orange barrel aged in a sherry barrel for 21 days. Perfect to sip by the open fireplace.
